Software update

OpenGate allows you doing software upgrades of the Internet of Things, providing with a simple interface to create bundles and schedule the operations.

The software updater engine is divided in two separated parts. The first one is related with the nature of each devices via the protocol connector, and the second one relates to the information needed to create the upgrade options and to track the launched options.

Devices are the communication devices that are part of the infrastructure. In M2M it’s typical to have a modem embedded in machine, a modem using a serial cable, a router using a LAN, or maybe a concentrator using ZigBee in the short range communication and GSM on the long range.
