amplía))) is responsible for developing, engineering and prototyping the SEAMS Platform (‘Smart Energy Adaptive Management System’) as a software piece connecting the user TOS (Terminal Operating System) and the mobile yard equipment.
Our company has deployed the system in NCTV (Noatum Container Terminal Valencia), being the first port terminal in Europe in integrating a system based on smart, dynamic and real-time energy management.
The Smart Energy-efficient Adaptive Management System (SEAMS) platform is an intelligent software tool that will be able to monitor the different operations being carried by the equipment and machinery used at a container terminal and change the operation model, focusing on the energy efficiency and the productivity in that terminal.
The platform collects information regarding current operational and energy consumption status of machinery.
The goals are to reduce bottlenecks, idle times, unnecessary energy consumption, and GHG emissions.
SEA TERMINALS is an Innovation and Networks Executive Agency (INEA) project, frame in the European Commission TEN-T Program and lead by Foundation Valencia-Port.
