amplía))) is responsible for developing, engineering and prototyping the SEAMS Platform (“Smart Energy Adaptive Management System”) as a software piece connecting the user TOS (Terminal Operating System) and the mobile yard equipment.

Our company has deployed the system in NCTV (Noatum Container Terminal Valencia), being the first port terminal in Europe in integrating a system based on smart, dynamic and real-time energy management.

Industrial IoT in Heavy Equipment

PACECO España is a Spanish Engineering Company providing Container Handling Cranes (Portainer®, Transtainer®), software systems (Poseidon®) and services for the European, West-African and East America markets. The cranes made by PACECO work on a 24×7 basis and are critical assets for their owners and for the whole supply chain.
OpenGate allows PACECO to manage its fleet, offering its customers a range of services including identification and location, real-time status information, activity tracking, alarms, maintenance and service information, calculation of business KPI’s and data compilation.


Smart Metering Infrastructure Management

A major electricity company in Spain is using OpenGate for monitoring and managing more that 200.000 communication devices. These are used as part of the Smart Metering infrastructure in every house hold in Spain.


AMR for Utility

We integrated various metering software applications into a single vendor-independent web portal that allows the utility company, the second spanish electricity company, obtaining electric meter readings from ten of thousands of customers nation wide.


M2M Infrastructure in Telcos

We successfully helped two of the world’s biggest mobile operators to integrate Opengate into their M2M services suite.


Electrical outlets in residential areas DOMOCELL focuses within the world of the electric vehicle, to the study of electricity networks in residential areas in large and mid-sized cities. At present there are no public charging points, and residential buildings in the garages do not have electrical outlets so that residents can charge vehicles.



Electric Vehicles The Intelligent Platform Management of Electric Vehicles (GEMOVEL by its spanish name) intends to be a solution that promotes the use of electric vehicles by providing added value services for users of such vehicles.


SLIM is an international project within the framework of the Japan & Spain Innovation Program (JSIP) in collaboration with NEDO in Japan and CDTI in Spain. Its objective is to build a platform to enhance personnel safety at intermodal container terminals. SLIM combines innovative sensor technologies, wireless communications, intelligent textile fabrics and data processing to deliver real-time information on potentially dangerous situations.


Container Tracking

We provided proof-of-concept for en-route tracking of perishable goods containers under stressful roaming and coverage conditions, mixing short range communications in ZigBee with GPRS for tracking goods status. The test took place in a real cargo ship for a six month journey.


Wildfire detection

We helped (the client) to manage and monitorize wildfire prevention and rescue teams from a centralized service. We had to do lots of hardware integration and testing, consultancy and complex software design and development, creating a specialized web portal to control the M2M middleware infrastructure (OpenGate) and adapting a mesh sensor network to existing M2M transactional services.


M2M for healthcare

Using third party glucometers and weights with bluetooth, we helped patients with diabetes monitor themselves at home and doctors check that information in real time. With the M2M Healthcare project we efficiently created a bridge between bluetooth and GPRS into one platform.

ENERSIP (Energy Saving Information Platform)

The main of ENERsip project is to create an adaptive, customizable and service-oriented energy monitoring and control system by active and proactively coordinating energy, communications, control, computing and construction for near real-time generation and consumption matching in residential, commercial buildings and neighbourhoods.



ECO-DC is a hardware-software energy efficiency platform of Data Processing Centers (DC), developing a comprehensive system of monitoring and intelligent control of temperature and humidity in wireless mode, interacting on refrigeration systems platform.
